Hi guys you may have noticed that I have changed my ticker to reflect my pregnancy as that is what I need to be concentrating on, not my weight loss any longer. Went to the doctor yesterday, and in the last month my blood pressure has already gone back up to what it was when I was 7 months pregnant last time, making this decision about quitting seem so much righter. Other that that, I got my referral to go and have my ultasound in 3 weeks time, I can't wait to scan it in and show you all!
Peter is already pushing for a boy, but I've told him its going to be a girl, just to annoy him. But my mum did the ring test and that came out as a girl too, same thing happened with Jules, but I suppose its a 50% chance of getting it right isn't it. When we have the 18 week scan we will be trying to find out the sex, just because I like to be organised and have the right clothes ready when I come home from the hospital!
Not too much else new at the moment, they started bricking the walls on our renovation last week, should be finished by the middle of next week, then they will be finishing the inside! Can't wait until they do that and then I can get my new kitchen!
Time for lunch, am starving as usual, see you later,
Mel

Another week between messages
Sorry I've been so slack, but between work, sleep and stuffing my face with chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, doughnuts, and hot buttered toast I have been flat out! Went to my meeting last week, and they were thrilled for me, and have suspended my membership until after the birth. I got a big hug off my leader after I burst into tears (had a horrible day at work, was in tears all afternoon and all night, but more on that later), and she let me stock up on my favourite peanut breakfast bars to keep me going through the pregnancy! She is just wonderful!
I am going to the doctor's on friday to find out how far along I am, and get my referal for my ultasounds and my baby doctor (don't feel like trying to spell the proper oby-gyn doctor!) I am really looking forward to this, will get me through the next two days!
As of Monday, I have given two months notice to resign from my position at work. it is incredibly stressful and something that has been coming even before I was pregnant. I don't need this stress while I am pregnant, and I'll be too busy at home once I have the next one, I would rather spend more time with my family. I will be staying on as casual, and helping out whenever they need a supervisor, so will pick up some extra money that way.
Peter, Jules and I are going to Melbourne in 10 days for the weekend, my friend Kirsty is getting married next year and wants me to help her pick out her wedding dress on the saturday, and we are thinking of taking Jules to the zoo or the healesville sanctuary on the sunday, before hitting chadstone on monday!!! love that shopping centre!
Thats most of the goss at the moment, will hopefully be back on saturday to update myself again, chat later,

Found something new
I was suffering through my 6am shifts when one of the chefs mentions that his daughter is also pregnant, and that she bought some motion sickness bands for your pressure points on your wrist, and they worked really well, so I went out and bought some and most of its gone!!! I still feel sick when I am hungry, but I look at that as more a reminder that I need to eat regularly.
I'm have been really tired lately, in bed before 8 almost every night, my one day for a sleep in on Sunday, I was awake at 6, and could't get back to sleep!!! Very peeved because Jules slept until 7.30!
I'm about to go to my meeting tonight to tell my leader I'm pregnant, I just can't keep going while I'm feeling like this, and feeding my face like this too!
Going to bed early again tonight, although I get a sleep in tomorrow because I don't have to start until 1 in the afternoon, will have to wait and see.
Will let you know what happen tonight...

Nausea is slowly going...
I'm not sure whether its the 6am starts at work, or the pregnancy, but my body totally out of whack. I'm constantly hungry, but the thought of certain foods makes me want to throw up, and others get me drooling over the possibility. At the moment I can't stand coffee, and being a fully fledged coffee adict, this is absolutely crazy!!! At least I don't get caffiene headaches from the lack of caffiene, but I do miss my morning coffee...
Thank you for all your kind messages, it really brightens my day when I get home from work, all worn out, to know that you guys care about me!
Thanks Heaps!

Too busy throwing up to go anywhere!!!
Why, o why did I do this to myself again!!!!! On the bright side I am still losing weight even though I don't know when the last time was that I stuck to my points for a whole day. At this point in time still thinking about giving up meetings, mainly due to the cost, but I will miss my peanut breakfast bars.
Will probably go back to my regular thursday night meeting this week to my speak to my regular leader (only go to Saturday when I work Thursday nights), She is a wonderful woman, and I am hoping to get some advice from her about my situation.
They have changed my shifts this week to all mornings with split days off, just to make life soooo much easier for me, this was decided before I found out I was pregnant, so if the early mornings get too much for me, I will ask to swap back. I do think that it will be nice to be able to spend the afternoon with Jules and Peter though.
On a bright note I have decided to count my at home weights for the last two weeks, will be updating those shortly on the ww site and on my ticker, yesterday I weighed in at 115.7, so while I didn't quite reach my end of June goal, I still did pretty well considering.
I am taking Jules to see her great grandmother today, with my mum, she lives over an hours drive away, and she doesn't get to see her very often, I am stealing my husbands camera to take some pictures so she will have some photos to remind her of her great-nanna when Jules is older.
Better get going, need to be at my mum's by 10,
